About This Scholarship:

THE KING ABDULLA UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY(KAUST) offer MS and Ph. D programs admission twice in a year . In KAUST all the admitted students will be granted fellowship for their study. The duration of fellowship is same as the duration of academic session of the degree program.

For Master of Science Degree program

For Admission in Master of science (MS) program requires the satisfactory completion of an bachelor of science degree in a relevant field such as
- Engineering,
- Mathematics
- Physical science
- Chemical science
- Biological Sciences.
English Proficiency
- TOEFL minimum score of 79 or
- IELTS (International English Language Testing System) minimum score 0
- Only official TOEFL or IELTS scores will be accepted.
- A TOEFL or IELTS score is not required if the applicant Graduate from an accredited institution in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
- No GRE exam necessary for admission.
- GRE test score increase the chance of admission.
- Three recommendation letters

There are three phases and associated milestones for Ph.D. students:
- Passing a written qualifying exam
- Passing an oral defense of the dissertation proposal
- Dissertation phase with a final defense milestone
