Taiwanese nationals are not eligible for Taiwan ICDF Scholarship 2020
- Must have graduated before July 31, 2019
- Applicants must also meet the Regulations Governing Visiting, Resident, and Permanent Residency of Aliens set by ROC(Taiwan) National Immigration Agency
Application Procedure:
The annual application period runs, in principle, from January 1 to March 15. For 2020 Scholarship program, the application period runs from January 1 to March 15, 2020.
- All application materials must be submitted to the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy in your country.
- The (Taiwan) Embassy will make an initial evaluation of your application and verify your credentials.
- After your application has been fully reviewed, the institution will set up an admission committee with the Taiwan ICDF and relevant program personnel to determine the status of your application.
- Once your application is accepted, the Taiwan ICDF will issue you a Letter of Invitation and Acceptance (LOIA) via the (Taiwan).

Gaining admission from the university does not necessarily mean that the applicant has also been given a Taiwan ICDF scholarship. Only the applicant who receives the acceptance letter issued by the Taiwan ICDF is the scholarship recipient.
